What we are looking for

The spirit of the ADL Consortium is to baseline Federal ADL (Technology) programs and how they can aid in building the capacity of state and local public safety initiatives. To establish this "baseline of information" each agency is invited to provide a 15-minute presentation, that summarizes their overarching philosophies and mission.

Format: 15-minute "high impact" presentation (powerpoint, etc.)

Please include the following in your presentation:

  • Your organization (brief background)
  • Mission (i.e., supporting State and local Law Enforcement etc.)
  • Advanced Distributed Learning
    • definition
    • stance (importance, emphasis, support, etc.)
    • strategy (CD-ROMs, web, video, etc.)
    • future vision

Issues to Avoid In the interest of time and continuity of presentation format, please avoid content such as:

  • Sales pitches (products, resources, etc.)
  • Specific project briefings (will be addressed in another meeting)
  • Requests for funding
  • Turf battle issues

We would also like an electronic (disk) version of your presentation so we may compile and distribute, along with a contact/attendees list, to all.
