ABSTRACT:
This paper addresses the education and training of practitioners in professions such as medicine, law, military leadership and management, whose decisions can have great
impact on the lives of individuals and/or organizations. While I acknowledge a continuing need for a practitioner to learn facts and principles, I am at least as concerned
with habits of thinking, and the mental models that shape and filter the perceived practice world.
