[edit] XiphQT components
To play some of the videos in Halyard Test, you will need to download and install the XiphQT Quicktime Components.
[edit] VP3 codec
The VP3 codec is currently unsupported and being phased out, though some videos in Halyard Test still use the it. There is currently nowhere you can download it from.
[edit] Quake 2 demo levels
In order to try out the embedded Quake functionality in Halyard Test, you'll need to download the Quake 2 demo from id Software. Once you have downloaded it, extract the files, but there is no need to install Quake 2. Just look in the extracted directory for the directory Install\Data\baseq2 and copy that directory (baseq2) into the top level of the halyard-test-x.y.z directory.
[edit] GPG verifier
In order to test certain components of the Halyard Test automatic update functionality, you'll need a copy of gpgv.exe, a verifier of GPG signatures. Download the latest Win32 GPG package, install it, and then look in the install directory (usually C:\Program Files\GNU\GnuPG and copy the gpgv.exe program from there to the halyard-test-x.y.z directory.
