Here are some things the core team would love to see Halyard do. Some we're planning to work on someday; others have not yet been added to any schedule:

  • OggPlay video playback.
  • A GUI interface for laying out screens, probably based on HyperCard.
  • A MacOS X port.
  • A Linux port.
  • Cairo graphics support.
  • Pango text rendering.
